  Tudor Court Model Village

  Poliomyelitis victim John Palotta spent most of his life making a scale model of his English Village in Kent. Buildings include a 14th century parish church, manor house and coaching inn – all made from dental plaster, matches, wire and paint. The church alone took two years to build, with 2,000 matchsticks being finely split to hold stained glass windows.

  An attraction for more than 50 years the Village has now found a home in the Heritage Brookfield Shed.

  Due to the irreplacability of this unique display, people are not to enter without a guide.Each Tour takes about 45 minutes, and includes a commentary on John Palotta with stories of the buildings he has replicated in England. The tour also includes the German Model Train, which was built by Erick Sablowski. There are night lights and other collections. Wheel chair accessible.

  Tour times:: 9:30am; 10:30am; 11:30am; 2:00pm; 3:00pm, 4:00pm and 5:00 pm; or by appointment (03 6267 2880)
